About the East Williamsburg CSA
Our 2014 CSA Season will run from from June 7th to November 1st.
Hearty Roots Farm provides fresh, seasonal vegetables and eggs to our CSA. All vegetables are grown using organic farming practices. Their flock of laying hens are pasture-raised and eat non-GMO feed.
Montgomery Place Orchards grows berries, plums, apricots, peaches, pears, and apples for our members from July-November.
Sfoglini Pasta is a new CSA option this year. You will receive a bi-weekly share (1 pound) of freshly made, artisnal pasta in several shapes and flavor varieties.
Cochran Dairy Farm- is our new yogurt, milk, pork and beef provider. Sign up for those shares directly through their website. Be sure to choose "East Williamsburg CSA" to see the available options.
Full shares are picked up each week (22 distributions) and half shares are picked up every other week (11 distributions).
Vegetables Full-Share: $545
Vegetables Half-Share: $270
Other shares are available for an additional charge.
**UPDATE ON SHARES: WE ARE CURRENTLY SOLD OUT OF FRUIT.
Our distribution is on Saturdays from 10AM - 1PM at the Red Shed Community Garden at 266 Skillman Avenue in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Members are required to work one, two-hour volunteer shift per household, per season.
